About Bead-Crazy
Background Information
Bead-Crazy has been making unique handmade jewellery for 2 years from home after being shown by a friend how to make jewellery and then continued to teach myself. I now have many pieces of jewellery and would now like to sell the unique items I make so that people can enjoy wearing the jewellery as much as I have enjoyed making them.
All the items that I make are created to be unique one-offs so that you, the purchaser has that little something special that no-one else will have.
I try my hardest to source my products from places that sell good quality beads, findings which are clasps, beads, fish hook and wires at the best possible price. I never buy in bulk as this would lose the unique quality that my products have.
I also try to source more unique items such as Acholi beads which are made from rolled paper and glue in a variety of colours by Ugandan women to bring themselves a small income.
The second picture shows the Tagua bead as the main pendant. These are made from a nut in the rainforests from the Andes to Ecuador and to Bolivia and Peru.
I enjoy making jewellery and seeing people reactions when I show them to family and friends and getting comments so that I can keep on improving and making more and more unique items.
